We are reliving some of our BEST and FAVORITE themes over the past quarter-century with an upcycled twist! 🎉
During the week, we encourage campers and staff to dress in theme costumes to celebrate!
📅 Theme Days:
● Sunday: Stix in Color 🌈Let color inspire you as we celebrate the vibrant spectrum of love and acceptance found at Camp Stix
● Monday: Exploring the Mysteries of the Unknown 🔍Uncover the hidden secrets found within UFO's, magical creatures such as unicorns, fairies, trolls, and of course- our Gnomies!
● Tuesday: Everyday’s a Holiday 🎉Find happiness in simple moments by celebrating your FAVORITE holiday! Show some love for Christmas, Halloween, even Arbor Day!
● Wednesday: Life’s a Party 🥳Unwrap the joy as we celebrate the thrill of the Superbowl, Stix' 25th Birthday, or a carefree retirement party!
● Thursday: The Most Magical Camp on Earth ✨Unleash your inner royalty, superhero, or magical character as we create enchanting new memories!
● Friday: Back to the Future ⏳Great Scot! Wear your favorite Stix gear of past, present, or FUTURE! What might Stix look like in another 25 years?
Drop off Day for Camp Stix is SUNDAY JULY 13th and arrival times are as follows:
Last names beginning with-
Z to T to arrive from 1:00-1:45pm
S to N to arrive from 1:45-2:30pm
M to G to arrive from 2:30-3:15pm
F to A to arrive from 3:15 to 4:00pm
Last Day of Camp: Saturday July 19th
Please plan to attend our Parent Program from 9:00-9:30 AM.
Check-Out begins at 9:30 AM, where you’ll meet with your individual MASH Team before departing and receive snacks for your camper’s journey home.
All campers and volunteers must leave camp by 11 AM. Plan ahead! No early or late departures are permitted. Please be prompt and safe in your departure. Please refer to the driving directions link posted above, and once again, please DO NOT Google Camp Stix for driving directions: it will send you to Camp Reed (our former host camp)
Parents/Guardians: So that your child has a positive experience at camp, please take a few moments to read and discuss these camper expectations with your child. Thank you!
I will respect my cabin mates, counselors, medical volunteers, kitchen volunteers, and any other Camp STIX volunteers by using proper language and behavior.
I will respect myself, have a positive attitude, and follow dress code and safety rules.
I will be open to new ideas and experiences at Camp.
I will respect the environment, including the campgrounds, cabins and buildings both at camp and while away from camp on walks or hiking trips.
I will talk to a counselor or other staff member if I need help dealing with other campers, staff, or my experiences.
I will follow the directions of the Med Team, and not eat additional foods or give myself insulin without clearance from my Med Team.
I will not use an electronic device like a cell phone, iPod or electronic game during camp week.
I will not lie, cheat, steal or otherwise disrespect myself or others.
If my behavior is inappropriate or is hurting the camp experience for others, I may be referred to the Camp Director and / or the Medical Director for corrective actions. Bullying or other aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
I will not exchange personal address, email address, phone number or other contact information with any Camp STIX volunteers (JC’s, Counselors, Med Team, DISH volunteers) without specific permission from my parents/guardians.
Outside of camp, if I am emailing, texting or posting information for other campers:
I will not speak hurtfully or falsely about others.
I will not send or post embarrassing or inappropriate pictures.
I will not discuss sexual topics, tobacco or drug abuse, or violence toward others.
I understand that failure to comply with all of the above expectations may result in being sent home early.
*Camp STIX is a drug and alcohol-free environment. Weapons, animals (except service animals), and personal vehicles are not allowed for campers. Cell phones are permitted for use with pumps/CGMs; however, all other electronic devices are prohibited.
